Making science, technology, engineering & math accessible, free and fun for individuals with special needs in North Carolina.
Members of the NC Exceptional STEM Non-Profit Club work to create interactive, one-of-a-kind science lessons and experiments for individuals with special needs of all ages. Exceptional children in schools aren't typically given the same learning opportunities as their peers, so our club seeks to bridge the equity gap in STEM opportunities. Individuals will have a chance to develop a hypothesis, test, and experiment with us! We work to make this a safe learning experience that fosters creativity and a love for STEM fields. Our club has outreach across the state of North Carolina and would love to work with you!
We would love to make a difference in the lives of your exceptional individuals! If you have a school group, after-school organization, group home or church organization, who would be interested in this fun & one of a kind experience, contact us! Tell us where, when and we will bring a customized science lesson/experiment for your organization if possible.
This club was founded by teenagers looking for a way to give back to their community! Our proud club members include Katie Dale, Danzi Goesswein, Kelsey McCarthy, Georgia Dale, Lexie Dale, Graycin Goesswein and Winnie Smith.
We couldn't accomplish our goals without supporters like you. Thank you for your help that makes NCESC possible!
